What gives me hope and energy~ My hope is in a God who loves us and whose original purpose will be seen clearly. That gives me hope. Also, seeing the group of young people grow up over the last 19 yrs or so, they give me hope. Hope of being a group of smart reliable wonderful people. This group also gives me energy and makes me want to go out and do things. See nature, enjoy friends, love family, and of course play with my dog.
Some folks start a blog to talk about what ails them, or a passion or something that makes them angry. For me it is just simple things that I enjoy. I am going to jot them down here. I will share them from time to time. It's like a conversation put in a letter. Feel free to write back. Keep it kind though.
Something I have always done through the years and have enjoyed ever so much is my time with my family. We have camped, BBQ'd, played card games, gone canoeing, had road trips, been dancing, weddings, funerals and countless other things families do together. The nicest thing about this and still is, is that we were really together. It didn't mean endless questions or talking. There were silent breaks, and then lots of talking, then lots of laughing. Kids dressing up, playing house, or submarine. It's just all so perfect in an imperfect way.
